Reasonably Faithful: believing in a secular world 
You don't need faith to be a good or happy person. But for me, faith adds an extra dimension: it provides a clear framework for making choices, helps to give meaning to setbacks, and offers the perspective that this life is a chapter in a larger, ongoing story.
The nerd who didn't want to know anything about God: a boy who read encyclopedias cover to cover, imagined chickens away from chicken coops, and neatly parked God in the category of dogmas. Until a school trip to Italy took him to Assisi — and everything changed.
