I regularly monitor Twitter to see what is being written about Mormons. This week I was shocked by the following tweet about tithing:

Wow, the way it's written there, it sounds terrible. “Give your money to the church, that is more important than taking care of your family.” It's really worth taking a moment to think about it, because that's really not how things work with tithes.
