Sometimes I meet people who are going through difficult times. People who wonder if they still matter, if there's someone who sees them, understands them, or loves them. And each time I want to say something that goes beyond what words can express: Jesus loves you.
That phrase seems simple, almost childish. And yet, it is everything. It is the answer to our deepest question: Am I still loved, even when I make mistakes, even when I doubt, even when I don't believe?
Yes. Always.
Jesus does not love us for what we do, but for who we are. His love does not depend on faith, achievements, or perfection. It is there, even when we don't think of him. Even when we forget him, he does not forget us.
Lately I've been giving out small, colorful, smiling figurines, with the words «Jesus ♥ you» on their band. They are simple, almost playful. And yet, I notice how they touch people. Not because of the figurine itself, but because of the memory it brings: that there is Someone who loves them unconditionally.
Because the love of Christ lives in people. When you comfort someone, listen to them, help them, or are simply kind, you are transmitting some of that same love. This is how His work remains visible today, not in great miracles, but in small acts of kindness.
So, when you receive one, keep it for a moment. Smile. Remember that it is not just a small gift, but a symbol. A soft voice that says:
You are loved. You are important. You are not alone.
And perhaps, who knows, tomorrow you will transmit that same message to someone who needs it.
