I rest my case

I would love to be a lawyer in the US to use this famous phrase again and again, but now I have come across it in a video to which I simply say amen in response. Anyone who knows me knows that I love the fact that for me religion and science are not opposites, but different windows into the same truth.

One person answers more about how questions, the other looks more at why and together they give a coherent answer. They use different methods and that is where things often go wrong: when you work in one field with tools from another field.

I often allow myself to be tempted to do so and try to mix science and faith, often to my own satisfaction. Also when I am asked to prove certain things from the Book of Mormon. But now I just saw a video that says it so much better than I do, so I only have to amen say.
